If they were members of the women's team I hope they didn't accept
any prizes. That is not allowed by (who else) the NCAA. A year
or two ago a student at Marquette won a car by hitting a
half-court shot at a Marquette basketball game. He was a member
or the track team. There was a lot of legal wrangling to see
if the guy could somehow remain on the team and get the car. Does
anybody (any Milwaukee people?) remember what happened?

Re: girls and women

My personal rule of thumb is when boys and girls turn 18 they
become adults i.e. men and women. When in doubt use the terms
for adults since most people would consider that a sign of respect.
Seriously though, I don't see how anyone can consider this distinction,
girls vs woman, to be a PC matter rather than a matter of basic respect.
I mean, I don't go around calling the majority of people on this
list children just because I am older than 90% of you. I respect
your opinions even though you don't have the wisdom of age like I do.
        BTW, :-) :-) :-)!!!!!

Is it humanly possible for Rick Comley to issue any more anti-woofs
for this weekend's clash between Wisconsin and Northern Michigan?

Cheers,
