A total turnaround for Cornell from the previous night. There were five new
faces in the lineup for the Big Red. One of the players benched was Mike
Sancimino, Cornell's leading goal scorer but a player who in the last
couple of games has taken a number of bad penalties. RPI had personnel
problems of their own, as Tim Regan was absent to attend a funeral and
Chris Kiley did not play either; the Engineers suited up just 17 skaters
and 2 goalies, and some of the skaters (e.g., defenseman Mike Rolanti) did
not play much, if at all.

A very entertaining, well-played game by both teams, with lots of
end-to-end action, good scoring chances and good goaltending from both
Little and Skazyk. If last night's game was Cornell's worst of the year,
this may have been their best. Unfortunately, their best doesn't seem to be
good enough to win against the pre-season consensus favorite Engineers, who
seem to be having some troubles of their own.
