The laws preventing scalping are somewhat reminiscent of the old "blue laws".  I don't like it so I outlaw it. Why shouldn't someone be able to make a profit on a resale of tickets?   Isn't this a free market economy?  If I can make a profit on the resale of Beany Babies why are tickets to an athletic event so different?
