Don't know if the mail's just slow recently or not, but I haven't seen
this posted yet....

Consolation game: Colorado College 6, Denver 1
Championship game: Miami 4, New Hampshire 2

This is the first year since the tournament was created 6 years ago that
Denver hasn't won it. I was going to watch the games in person, but then
the alternator in my car decided to die 20 miles south of Denver and I had
to get it towed back to Colorado Springs. :( I heard most of the first and
third periods of the CC-DU game on the radio, and it sounded similar to
the last game at the Air Force Academy, when CC won 9-1. Got home in time
to watch the championship game on tv. Both UNH and Miami played well, and
it was a good game to watch. Mike Schmitt, the ref for the game, showed
that fighting isn't tolerated even in the final minutes of the game, as 2
players got DQs with 45 seconds left.

The Tigers have this weekend off, and play Air Force next on Jan. 6.
