Interesting note from Hockey East...
 
Mass Amherst took the season series from both of HE's Merrimack Valley
teams, going 3-0-0 against Merrimack and 1-1-1 vs Mass Lowell.  UMass's
shootout win over Mass Lowell Saturday night gave them 8 points to Lowell's
7 in the series between the two teams, and it was also the Minutemen's
first ever HE shootout victory (1-1).
 
However, against the rest of HE, UMass has gone 0-12-1, with the tie coming
against Northeastern.  23 of UMass's 25 HE points have come against the two
Valley teams.
