Before a sellout crowd at Gutterson Rink in Burlington last night, the
Clarkson University Golden Knights defeated the University of Vermont
Catamounts by a final score of 5-1.  The victory avenged Vermont's 6-3
victory over Clarkson on Jan. 20th.  Clarkson's Mark Morris called it
the best game of the year as the team played a full 60 minutes.  The victory
coupled with SLU's 7-4 drubbing over Dartmouth stretched SLU's margin by
3 points over Vermont and cut Vermonts lead over Clarkson to 3 points and
to only 1 point over Colgate.
 
Teams switch tonight as Clarkson goes to Dartmouth and Vermont entertains
St. Lawrence.
