However painful, I must disagree with Mike about moving the first round
to campus sites.  Using the example he did of playing in the Walter Brown
Arena, even with the game in Worcester (just 60 miles away, but not as
convenient as Boston) the game with LSSU drew about 10000 fans, 6000 of
whom would have had to stay home and watch on TV.  What if a school like
Princeton or Colgate, with even smaller rinks, got home ice?  The larger
sites are necessary to accomodate the fan interest.  The early games are
the problem, but it is a real disadvantage to have a full two week period
without a game, just look at how bad UNH looked after their "rest".
