BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY -- Bowling Green's game against Ohio State on
Friday was the Falcons 1,000th game on the intercollegiate level since becoming
a varsity sport in 1969.  Their all-time record is 585-370-46 for a winning
percentage of .607.    Sophomore right wing Mike Johnson has three goals and
six assists for nine points in the last four games with a plus/minus rating of
+7.
 
FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY -- The Bulldogs have scored four or more goals 10 times
this year compiling a 7-2-1 mark.  Sophomore defenseman Andy Roach recorded his
his first career hat trick in Friday's 7-6 (OT) win at Illinois @ Chicago.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO -- Sophomore right wing Alan Dunbar has five
multiple-point games this year with three of these coming in his last eight
games.  Junior left wing Rob Hutson has seven multiple-point games this year
including his fourth three-point game on Friday against Ferris State.During
this period, Hutson has recorded three goals and nine assists for 12 points.
 
LAKE SUPERIOR STATE UNIVERSITY -- Senior right wing Rob Valicevic has four
goals and six assists for 10 points in his last six games with one power play
goal.  The weekend series with Michigan drew two of the top four crowds in
Norris Center history.  Friday's crowd of 3,534 ranks fourth and Saturday's
crowd of 3,711 is the largest to ever watch a game at the Norris Center.
 
MIAMI UNIVERSITY -- Senior goaltender Chuck Thuss is 2-0-2 in 1995 with a 2.64
goals-against average and a .933 saves percentage.  He has made 154 saves in
250 minutes played for an average of nearly 37 saves per 60 minutes.
 
UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN -- Sophomore center Brendan Morrison has a 13-game point-
streak heading into Friday's game against Bowling Green.  During the streak, he
has 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points.  Morrison has a point in 18 of 20
games this season with 12 multiple-point games.
 
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY -- Junior center Anson Carter has eight goals,
including three power play and two shorthanded, and six assists for 14 points
in the last six games with a plus/minus rating of +9.  He has 10 multiple-point
games this season.  Carter's six shorthanded goals lead the nation.
 
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME -- Sophomore defenseman Ben Nelsen has equalled his
career high with eight assists this season.  Nelsen has a two-game assist
streak going into Tuesday's home game versus Western Michigan.
 
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY -- Sophomore right wing Pierre Dufour has six goals in
the last six games, with seven of his 14 points coming in the last six games.
Dufour has 10 goals and four assists for 14 points this year after recording
two goals and seven assists for nine points as a freshman.
 
WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY -- Junior center Jamal Mayers has a point in 15 of
the last 16 games scoring eight goals and 16 assists for 24 points with a
plus/minus rating of +13.  Mayers has only been minus in two games this year
and has been held off the scoresheet only four times in 24 games.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS -- Sophomore center Cody Bowtell has a four-game
point-streak in which he has three goals and three assists for six points.  UAF
scored three shorthanded goals Saturday after scoring only three man-down goals
in the first 21 games.
 
CCHA - DID YOU KNOW? -- That Michigan State head coach Ron Mason is the only
collegiate hockey coach in North America with more than 700 career victories.
 
OVERTIME INFORMATION -- Michigan's first overtime game of the year on Saturday
came against Lake Superior, who the Wolverines faced in their last overtime
game (a 5-4 loss on March 27, 1994, in East Lansing in the NCAA Tournament).
Lake Superior has played 20 overtime games (in a span of 65 games) in the last
two seasons compiling a 6-6-8 record.
 
POWER PLAY STATISTICS -- Bowling Green had scored a power play goal in 19 of 21
games this year until Miami blanked the Falcons on all six man-advantage
opportunities in Saturday's 4-4 (OT) tie.  Bowling Green's season high five
power play goals came against Miami on October 21, 1994.
