BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY -- One area of improvement for Bowling Green
this season has been the power play. Last year, the Falcons converted on 38 of
236 man-advantage opportunities for a 16.1% efficiency. This season, BG has
scored on 14 of 38 chances for a 36.8% efficiency with nine different players
having scored a power play goal.

FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY -- Two newcomers made their presence felt in Big Rapids
this past weekend. Freshman center Jason Blake had five points (3G, 2A)
including the game-winner on Saturday, to help classmate Jeff Blashill record
the win in his collegiate debut. Blashill had 28 saves against NMU.

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO -- Friday night's home game versus Bowling
Green will be televised by SportsChannel Chicago.

LAKE SUPERIOR STATE UNIVERSITY -- Two roster deletions: #2 Josh Bilben and #19

and added one assist for five points.

MIAMI UNIVERSITY -- Senior Jason Crane had two assists/points in 18 career
games prior to Friday's game at Bowling Green, when he responded with two
goals.

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN -- After having their 45-game streak of not allowing a

goal of the season on Saturday. The previous SHG against 'M' came on March 20,
1993, by Brian Rolston in a CCHA semi-final contest.

MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY -- Senior netminder Mike Buzak raised his career
record to 50-22-7 (.633 winning percentage) with his victory on Friday night.
Michigan State had sellouts both nights at Munn Arena extending their
consecutive regular-season sellout streak to 153 games.

UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME -- Notre Dame's 10 goals on October 14th vs. St.
Francis Xavier was the most since a 10-4 win against Holy Cross during the 1989-
90 season.

OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY -- One roster addition: #25 Mark Skogstad, RW, 3-30-72,
6-4, 208, Jr./Jr., Apple Valley, Minnesota/Waterloo (Iowa) Black Hawks. Head
Coach Jerry Welsh has 324 career wins to move into a tie with former Harvard
mentor Bill Cleary.

WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY -- Junior left wing Chris Brooks passed the 100-
point plateau in Thursday's win over Waterloo. With three assists on Saturday,
his career totals are now 33 goals and 70 assists for 103 points.

UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS -- One roster addition: #32 Wade Schachle, G,
12-3-73, 6-0, 180, Fr./Fr., Wasilla, Alaska/Wasilla High. Twenty-five players
