There's evidently some strange cosmic thing going on, cuz almost an hour
ago I sent a really spiffy word-for-word definition to you and the rest
of the folks.  It didn't bounce back, nor did it show up in the
distribution so ...  the brief definition.
 
It's a hawk, brown and white.
