That's true! I don't think he realized the full impact of what that amendment would have meant had it passed. He has introduced legislation to codify the rules about formatting so that they won't be dependent on the whims of another Sec. of Ed. Or ED staff. It was just introduced yesterday and doesn't even have s number yet. We need bipartisan support, and though I may not agree with him on any number of issues, I think he sincerely supports TRIO. He didn't even seem to remember that particular amendment.
