Jamie – Van Delivery Update. Increased costs due to the Portland Ordinance on hazard pay that impacts Freedom Xpress. Increased costs of $587.00 per week can be absorbed by MSL using LSTA CARES Act funds until the end of March. We will see if more federal or state funds become available before charging libraries.

Don’t forget to attend the special Statewide Zoom next Tuesday, Dec 1: Community Engagement, Advocacy and the COVID Economy.
We are already hearing the stories about libraries losing their funding due to COVID’s effect on the economy. Join us on December 1 when Amy Wisehart and Abby Morrow from the Ellsworth Public Library will tell us about engaging their community during this time.
