for the record, I do not represent the academy, and I have not even
discussed potential league affiliations with either the coaching staff
or the department of athletics at the academy.

When the discussion of expanding the WCHA to 12 teams first started,
everybody was discussing fairbanks and potentially mankato state or
potentially stealing a CCHA team.

In response to these postings, I asked why doesn't anybody even
consider air force? Mike, David, and keith all sent me private mail
about that question. Those mails led me to post my feelings on why it
might be good for Air Force to join a league. Those feelings are
mine, and have not been discussed with anybody at the academy. I do
not know how the academy views its future in ice hockey.

To clarify, I have no knowledge that the Air Force academy is even
considering a change in the status of their hockey program.

Have a good year...
Already have my motel reservations in the twin cities. Now
negotiating whether to drive or fly.
