UNH remains undefeated following its 3-2 win over Providence before a sellout crowd of 3,530 at Snively.

The Wildcats, who have yet to trail this year, held a 3-2 lead after two and protected it in the third mastrfully, keeping Providence in check with solid forechecking and defensive play.

Once again, UNH goaltending was impressive. Sophomore Trent Cavicchi turned aside 26 shots to improve to 3-0. He has allowed but four goals in those three outings.

UNH frosh Eric Boguniecki continues to impress, tallying his fourth goal of the year to open the scoring.

Providence transfer Mike Heinke goes against his former mates tonight in Providence.

UNH is now 5-0, 1-0 in Hockey East. The Friars, meanwhile, dip to 2-4, 0-4 in league play.
