I find this an interesting fact:
The Gophers have 3 sons of former Gopher hockey players.
Freshman Erik Rasmussen's father, Dale, lettered in 1960 and 1961.
Junior Dan Woog's father, Doug, lettered in 1964, 1965, and 1966.
Senior Dave Larson's father, Bruce, also lettered in 1964, 1965, and 1966.
(I believe Bruce and Doug, as well as Dave and Dan were high school
teammates at South St. Paul.)
There's also a fourth son of a Gopher letter-winner, but sophomore Casey
Hankinson's Dad was a Gopher *football* player, so he doesn't count. :-)
