I just read on a NY Rangers list that Todd Marchant has signed a
$1.5 million-dollar contract with the Rangers and will report to them
after the Olympics.  I have mixed feelings about this.  I really like
Marchant --- he's been my favorite Clarkson player since he arrived there
two seasons ago.  I like the Rangers -- so I'm pleased he'll be playing for
them.  However, I would have liked to watch him play college hockey for
a couple more years .... as it stands, he'll be hard-pressed to break into
the Rangers' league-leading lineup at this point.  Besides, he won't get to
wear his familiar #11 (I think he's wearing #23 on Team USA ...).
 
        Has anybody from Clarkson heard about this?
