To shed some light on how Hockey East teams stack up against the
rest of the nation, the following are statistics from the 1993-
1994 University of Maine hockey program:

During the past four years, HE teams have had a 257-129-14 (.660) record
versus non-league opposition. Against CCHA teams HE is .667; against
WCHA teams HE teams are .624; and against WCHAteams HE is .586.
