HUskie league notes from todays Daily Mining Gazette by Steve Brownlee

  - Saturday's 7 goal margin was the biggest ever against wisconsin

  - The Huskies lead the league in Power play and Penalty killing
          8 of 25 for 32% power play and 38 of 41 killed for 92.7%

  - MTU's 3 shorthanded goals tie them with UMD and Wisc. 2 more than they
      tallied all last season

  - Jim Storm's 2 shorthanded goals tie him for first

  - Jamie Ram Moved back on top of the league in both Goals against and Save %
GAA - 3.15 (denver Schoen second at 3.56)
          save % - .903 (again Schoen second at .885)

  - Ram also holds most shutout periods (7) and most minutes played (362:21)

As you can see its not only impressive that the Huskies climbed back to the
top in all these catagories, But most impressive is that they did it against
   the Highly rated Wisconsin Badgers!
