Boy, I really feel like I'm full of questions these days, but that's part of
what this DL is for, I guess: educating college hockey fans.
 
Who is/was Bob Johnson?   And while I am at it, how about Hobey Baker?
 
Whoever he was, the Bob Johnson Trophy/Cup does sound a lot classier than just
"NC$$ Champ."  (If for no other reason, it excludes that weighty and virtually
obscene acronym.)  But, (getting analytical here) the name Bob Johnson itself
is so Americanish and down-to-earth that it does not sound pretentious.  :-)
