BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY -- Senior left wing Tom Glantz extended his
point-streak to three games with an assist on Friday and a goal on Saturday.
  Earlier this season, he had a six-game point- streak.  Glantz has 10 multiple-
point games this year and his 19 goals are a career best.
 
FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY -- The seven FSU defensemen have accumulated 24 goals
and 45 assists for 69 points this season.  This represents 25% of the Bulldogs'
goal output, 30% of the assists and 28% of the points.  Sophomore Andy Roach
leads the FSU blueline corps with 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO -- Senior right wing/defenseman Jeff Blum had
three points against Michigan to raise his season totals to five goals and 10
assists for 15 points.  The five lamp- lighters equals his three-year total for
the Flames, while his 15 points is a single-season high.
 
LAKE SUPERIOR STATE UNIVERSITY -- Freshman left wing Joe Blaznek had a goal on
Friday and an assist on Saturday to extend his point-streak to three games.
Blaznek has three goals and four assists for seven points in his last six
games.  He has only been minus (plus/minus) once this season (in his first
game).
 
MIAMI UNIVERSITY -- Senior netminder Charles Thuss has won his last four
decisions allowing 10 goals in 243:51 for a 2.46-goals-against average and a
.915 saves percentage (108 saves on 118 shots).  He blanked Michigan State for
105:24 consecutive minutes over the weekend at Munn Ice Arena.
 
UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN -- Sophomore right wing Warren Luhning extended his
point-streak to five games with two assists on Friday, and a hat trick plus an
assist on Saturday.    Over his last nine games, he has six goals and 10
assists for 16 points with two shorthanded goals and five multiple-point games.
 
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY -- The Spartans were shutout at home on Saturday for
the first time since Western Michigan's Brian Renfrew blanked MSU on December
11, 1993.  Michigan State's team saves percentage of .899 leads all CCHA teams
as both Chad Alban and Mike Buzak have .899 saves pct.
 
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME -- Junior right wing Brett Bruininks has appeared in
every game for the Fighting Irish, a streak of 107 games heading into UND's
next game on February 24th at Michigan State.  He set a personal season record
with his 10th goal of the season on Friday night.
 
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY -- Junior center Sean Sutton is second on the Buckeye
squad with five multiple-point games this season scoring six goals and four
assists during the five games.  Sutton has 10 career multiple-point games and
needs three points to equal his season best of 17 (5-12) set last year.
 
WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY -- Freshman defenseman Steve Duke is second in
defensemen scoring with 28 points on nine goals and 19 assists.  He is also
third in freshmen scoring behind Michigan's Bill Muckalt (32) and Robb Gordon
(29).  Duke has a point in nine of the Broncos 13 games in 1995.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS -- Freshman right wing Forrest Gore has eight
points on four goals and four assists in his last seven games, including a two-
point game and a three-point game, while being held scoreless only twice.
Prior to this streak, he had four points (2G, 2A) in his first 17 games.
 
CCHA - DID YOU KNOW? -- That 12 CCHA players have been first round selections
in the National Hockey League entry draft:  Brian Rolston (LSSU); Kevyn Adams
(Miami); Jason Botterill, Bryan Deasley, Ryan Sittler, Aaron Ward (MICH); Rod
Brind'Amour, Joe Murphy, Jason Muzzatti, Craig Simpson, Bryan Smolinski,
Michael Stewart (MSU).
 
SHRINE EAST-WEST CLASSIC-- The 1995 Shrine East-West All-Star Classic will be
played on Sunday, April 9th beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the University of
Minnesota's Mariucci Arena.  The first two years of the game it was played at
Alfond Arena (Orono, Maine).  The Classic matches 21 seniors from the East
against 21 seniors from the West, with all three NCAA divisions represented.
Tickets are priced at $12 adult, $9 student and $8 for groups of 20 or more and
available by calling (612) 624-8080.
 
CCHA AWARDS BANQUET-- The annual CCHA Awards Banquet will be held on Friday,
March 17th in the Columbus Grand Ballroom of the Westin Hotel in downtown
Detroit.  Tickets ($25.00 each) will be available for sale in the league office
later this month with a limited number available at the door the night of the
banquet.  Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and the program.
