These come from Neil Koepke's article in today's Lansing State Journal:

-LSSU's current 5-game winless streak (0-3-2) is the team's longest since the
 1986-7 season
-The Lakers have also seen their mastery over Michigan come to a rather abrupt
halt in the past few seasons. During the first 10 seasons of Michigan's
membership in the CCHA, the Lakers held a 30-10-2 edge over the Wolverines.
In the two teams' last 9 meetings, the Wolverines are 8-1, including a 3-0
mark this year for their second consecutive regular-season sweep of the Lakers
-LSSU is not the only team who's seen its success against Michigan come to an
end. Western Michigan (who visits Ann Arbor this Friday and strangely enough
next Friday while hosting Michigan State on Saturday) has really struggled
recently against the Maize and Blue, winning only one of the last 22 meetings
(there have been 2 ties) dating back to the beginning of the 1989-90 season.
During the five-season stretch before this, the Broncos held a 15-7-2 ad-
 vantage over the Wolverines.
-Despite Michigan State's success this season, the Spartans have actually been
outscored in the second period, to the tune of 31 goals for and 37 against.
MSU has made up for this by dominating the first (40-17) and third (51-22)
periods (even with the debacle last Saturday in Bowling Green).
