No, Anson Carter didn't have a good game at BG Saturday night.
He took three penalties, two of them dumb, and wasn't dangerous.
That's a credit to BG.
However, he is a junior, not a senior, and is not the captain. Rem
Murray, maybe the best two-way player in the CCHA, is the captain.
No, Mike Buzak didn't make the difference in this game. Again, that's
a credit to BG. Remember, that's a tough building, and they played well there
in both victories against MSU, just as MSU played well in its two victories
over BG at Munn Arena.
This is going to have to be settled on neutral ice; Joe Louis,
probably.
Let's try to be fair in assessing or reporting on games for the
HOCKEY-L folks, eh?
Also, MSU's first three goals by Keyes, Sylvester and Clarke were
great individuual efforts, not just the result of BG breakdowns. BG's three
goals in the third period weren't pretty (as coach Buddy Powers said), but
they were great efforts (Johnson on the fourth and Fry on the sixth
particularly). Again, credit where credit is due.
