Hello,

I've just found out from our local daily here that Trevor Amundrud, a
promising freshman goalie for UNH, left school when he found out that the
NC$$ had recently taken another *full* year of eligibilty from him.

Amundrud, from Big River, Sask., had entered UNH with the knowledge that the
NC$$ had ruled him ineligible for all of 1994-95, plus two games
next season, due to his participation in two games with the Moose Jaw
Warriors of the Western Hockey League, a Major Junior affiliation.

Apparently, the mere action of signing an agreement to play for Moose Jaw
cost him the extra year.

Does anyone (Charlie?) have any insights into what rules were violated to
cause this increase in Amundrud's ineligibility?

Thanks,
                Bob C.
