Northern Michigan came back strong tonight to deny Colorado College the sweep,
winning 6-3. Northern got off to a quick lead when Seymour scored only :57
into the game. Green added another score for the Wildcats before R.J. Enga
finally got the Tigers on the board. In the second, CC freshman T.J. Tanberg
got a goal to tie it up, and Chad Remackel gave the Tigers their only lead
of the night 7 minutes later. Greg Hadden tied it back up before the end
of the period, his only score one one of several breakaways during the night.
Karlander regained the lead for Northern in the third, and the Wildcats
scored again to increase their lead. Judd Lambert was pulled off the ice
with 1:35 remaining in the game, but the Tigers couldn't put anything in.
Karlander finished the game with an empty-net goal.

CC still remains on top of the WCHA with 20 points, as Wisconsin lost last
night. Next week the Tigers host the Gophers in the first home games that
have been at night this season.
