NYR "backup" goalie Glenn Healy was an all-american at WMU. I don't know if
Joby Messier (MSU) was called up during the playoffs. I'd guess not.
 
U. Lowell won three div. II titles (1979, 1981, 1982). MacTavish was the
tournament's leading scorer and MVP in 1979.
 
Re Leetch and BC: I'm not surprised more mention wasn't made of Leetch's BC
connection, since he only played one season there.
