Steve Moerland asked about the CCHA playoff format for 1995-96
[when UAF becomes the 11th team] and beyond.  Steve then
suggested that the CCHA include only 8 or 10 teams in the post-
season, with 8 being preferable.  Well...sometimes you do get
what you ask for. :-)
 
I think the announcement was buried in one of Keith's recent posts,
but to confirm...Yes, the CCHA post-season plan for 1995-96 is to
have teams 1-4 host teams 5-8 at campus sites, with the 4 winners
advancing to the CCHA finals.  Regular season finishers 9-11 are
home for the summer.
