Cornell defeated Princeton in overtime 5-4 at Lynah Rink tonight.
Geoff Lopatka scored his third goal of the game at around the 16 minute
mark of the (first) overtime period to win it for the Big Red.

Some might argue that Princeton got robbed this evening .... I
would agree to an extent. Cornell's first goal was scored by Jake Karam
on a breakaway that he eingineered by catching a waist-high pass and
skating forward with the puck *in his glove* for about ten feet past the
stunned Princeton defense before dropping it to the ice and moving in
alone on the Princeton goal.

And then ... on Princeton's first power play ... a Princeton
forward took a one-time slap shot that went in and out of the net very
fast, on the ice the whole way, and was not recorded as a goal. From
where we were sitting, it was clear that the puck entered the goal, hit
the back of the bottom of the net, and came out the other side. Nobody
complained .... I don't think I've ever seen such a clear in-and-out goal
that drew no protests from the apparent scoring team.

Arthur, did you see it from down at the scorer's table? Were
we imagining things?
