RPI started out REALLLLY flat tonight as they allowed the Huskies to build a
4-0 lead in the first period. The Engineers regrouped and swapped
goaltenders and scored 5 times in the second to take a 5-4 lead into the
locker room at the second intermission. Northeastern tied the score in the
third but RPI retook the lead and scored an empty netter in the third to
take a 7-5 victory over Northeastern in front of a smallish but very vocal
crowd in Troy. RPI faces another Hockey East rival, Merrimack on Saturday.
More details to follow when RPI's SID puts out his press release.
