Hi all,

We are volunteers with Marine Mammals of Maine (MMoME), and we are open for
bookings for *in-person *(virtual can still be an option) programs for the
summer!! We now have *multiple program options*, all ocean animal
related. Please
ask for program descriptions,* topics are listed below*. We are able to
accommodate *all ages*. Please *read below *for suggested donation info,
contact info, and more.

If you haven't heard of us before (or even if you have), we are a fast
growing non-profit organization dedicated to marine mammal and sea turtle
response, rescue, care, research and education.. We started up in 2011 and
took over marine response after UNE's program shut down in 2014. We respond
to stranded marine animals from Kittery to Rockland. Mostly seals (300 this
last year), sometimes whales, and sea turtles. We have a triage center in
Harpswell where we can bring the animals that need medical attention. We
would stabilize them for up to 4 days before transporting them to a
rehabilitation center out of state (since Maine hasn't had one since UNE).
We now have a rehab license and officially released our first two seal
patients back to the ocean in October of 2017.

We want to spend the summer engaging with our local communities. Hoping to
spread the information to help us all better protect our marine life.

Our programs may include photos and information about the work we do, a
mock rescues/exams, and how others can get involved and help us and these
animals. **No live animals for presentations.**

*Program topics:"A Seal's Journey"*
*"World of Whales"*
*"Marine Life off the Coast of Maine"*
*"Turtle Tracks: An Exploration of Maine's Sea Turtles"*

We have limited spots, and priority will go to sites within our response
area of Kittery to Rockland. We are also excited to do some more inland
outreach as well, so get those requests in quick! We also have a virtual
option for those sites further away.

The suggested donation goes straight to providing critical medical care to
our seal patients. $100- in person, $75- virtual

Looking forward to visiting you all this summer!

Let us know if you have further questions, or are ready to set something
up. Find more information at our website: https://mmome.org/

Please respond with a separate email, since it is easier to keep track when
it isn't all in the same thread.

Thanks so much,
MMoME's Outreach Team
