In Sunday's Star Tribune from the "Briefly" column:
SNUGGERUD TRADED TO FLYERS -- The Philadelphia Flyers traded left wing Mark
Pederson to the San Jose Sharks on Saturday for right wing Dave Snuggerud, a
Minnesota native.
Snuggerud, 26, is a 6-foot, 190-pound Minnetonka native and former Gopher. He
played with Buffalo from 1989 season until late in 1991-1992 season, when he
was traded to the Sharks.
In 25 games with the Sharks this season, Snuggerud had four goals and five
assists for nine points and 14 penalty minutes.
And from this morning's Star Tribune in the NHL Leaders column:
Former Gopher goalie Robb Stauber is now 9-2-1 with the L.A. Kings and has the
BEST save percentage of all NHL goalies as of 12-20-92. His save percentage is
.913 in 724 minutes played. I am really happy to see Robbie doing SO WELL at
last!
Happy Hockey Holidays!!
