In one of Steve Martin's movies, the one that explains what a "special
purpose" is, he is working in a gas station and is seen runnin out of it
yelling "The new phone book is here! The new phone book is here!" because he
is so excited at, at last, seeing his name in print.
 
This is how I felt when I received a 8"x12" manila envelope with an Anahiem
cancellation and 2695 E. Katella Ave. return address. However, the section 228
seats made me think, "Oh no, far away." But checking http://www.mightyducks.com/tickets/seating.html
certainly puts my mind at ease, since I had sent a hand written note asking
for seats behing one of the nets (my favorite spot to view a game).
 
This is great! I am so excited. Disneyland on Sunday and Santa Catalina Island
on Friday. If the LA Kings were in town I'd rather go see them, but somehow
the NCAA and NHL do not communicate. However, the Long Beach Ice Dogs (?) are
in town that weekend. The last time I was in Long Beach Arena I saw Johnny
Winter, and I doubt if the Ice Dogs can top such hot blues.
