Just watched the third period of the Clarkson-Cornell game. Cornell went
into the period with a 2-0 lead, and Clarkson was 1-7-1 in games in which
they trailed after 2 periods of play. Elliot also had shut out Clarkson
for five straight periods in Lake Placid after 2.
Knowing this, not surprisingly, Clarkson lost 2-1. Clarksons'
Jean-Francois Houle scored the Knights only goal with about 8 mins to
play in the third. Clarkson played very good hockey in the third, but
unfortunately it was too little too late from what I could see.
I will let someone else post all the games details. Congratulations to
Cornell on their second consecutive ECAC Tournament Title.
