In commemoration of th hockey Gophers' 75th anniversary season,
a No. 75 jersey will be worn by a different Gopher, starting
with Mike Crowley, during each of 21 Mariucci Arena games this season.
 
and
 
Former Gopher Dan Trebil's deal with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks includes
a $350,000 signing bonus and base salary of $350,000 this season.
 
also noted: THe Gophers have sold more than 11,000 tickets and expect
to sell out their October 12th U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame benefit game
at Target Center against Colorado College <sic>
 
NOTE:  THe Hall of Fame benefit game was included on the Gopher season
ticket package! So, they have only sold around 2,000 other tickets so
far. THe Hall of Fame benefit game is against Boston University, not
Colorado College!
