Reggie Berg, the Gophers hockey player who broke his leg while
playing in Finland, will miss the first week of the season,
according to coach Doug Woog....
 
...Woog said he looks for freshman Ben Clymer to play with Mike
Crowley on defense....
 
...The Gophers hockey team could sign several of the top senior
players in the state during the early signing period, including:
Dylan Mills of Duluth East; Matt Leimbeck of Rochester; Erik
Westrum of Apple Valley; and Aaron Miskovich of Grand Rapids. (all
cities in Minnesota)...
 
...Ben Clymer, Wyatt Smith and Erik Rasmussen of the Gophers will
be members of the U.S. Team in the World Junior Tournament this
winter in Europe....
 
...The Gophers will play Finland's National Team on December 30th
at Mariucci Arena....
 
...Some 350 seats are being added to Mariucci arena (this season)...
