For those interested, here's a quick list of former collegians
playing for team USA in the World Cup.

*Curtis Joseph (Wisconsin) is playing for team Canada.
**Jim Carey (Wisconsin) has not played in the actual tourney yet.

Tony Amonte Boston University
Shawn Chambers Alaska-Fairbanks
Chris Chelios Wisconsin
Bill Guerin Boston College
Guy Hebert Hamilton College
Brett Hull Minnesota-Duluth
John LeClair Vermont
Brian Leetch Boston College
Shawn McEachern Boston University
Joel Otto Bemidji State
Mike Richter Wisconsin
Brian Rolston Lake Superior State
Bryan Smolinski Michigan State
Gary Suter Wisconsin
Keith Tkachuk Boston University
Doug Weight Lake Superior State
Scott Young Boston University

For you stat people out there, the stand-out oddities are that there
are two defensemen and 3 goalies from Wisconsin involved in the
tourney, while 4 forwards from Boston University have played.

*** - Phil Housley went directly from South St. Paul H.S. in
Minnesota directly to the NHL.

FYI - Rolston, Hebert, McEachern, and Housley have only played in
the Slovakia game, and are not expected to play again if everyone
is healthy.

See ya,
Tony
