Actually, according to the box score (available on the WWW at
<http://www.sportsnet.co.at/Icehockey/statistics/game40.htm>; the site
has extensive, if difficult-to-read, boxes of all the games), Parris
Duffus played the entire bronze medal game. Tim Thomas did play the
first half of the US's 5-1 first-round loss to Canada (John Graeme
played the second half), as well as the last 47 seconds of the 3-1
loss to Russia in the first round (Duffus played the first 59:10, was
pulled at 19:10 of the third, and when the Russians scored an
empty-net goal 3 seconds later, Thomas finished the came.)

Oh, and no one's posted it, but the Czech republic beat Canada
4-2 for the gold, with the gamewinner coming in the last minute,
followed by an empty-netter.
