I've seen two mentions of the fact that St. Lawrence has
clinched a spot in the ECAC playoffs (i.e., top 10 finish), but in
both cases, it was stated that Vermont hasn't clinched yet. I think
this is wrong.

Okay, Vermont will finish the season with at least 22 Points,
and thus ahead of Princeton. Yale can also finish with 22, but only
by winning all the rest of their games. This includes one against
Union and one against Dartmouth (see below), which means that each of
those two teams would finish with 21 points, behind Vermont. So the
Cats have to finish ahead of Princeton and at least one of Yale, Union
and Dartmouth, hence a guaranteed 10th-place finish, not 11th. (I
don't think they have 9th locked, since UVM, Union and Dartmouth could
all end up with 22, but 9th place doesn't concern me enough to make me
crunch the tiebreakers.)
Did I miss something?
