          Mike Machnik writes:
"Once again, I am extremely disappointed in the way in which
the schedule was negotiated with a clear bias towards the
          CCHA."

What I am wondering is where the television feeds come from.
My recollection is that Prime Network is headquartered in
Dallas, TX. Is it possible their feeds are coming from PASS
and NESN television crews? If so, that could go a long way
towards explaining the bias. PASS is headquartered in Ann
Arbor, Michigan. For them, it is a much shorter trip to any
of the CCHA schools than it is to travel to Minnesota or
Colorado. In fact, when PASS used to carry a weekly CCHA
game, they would never show a Michigan road game. Why
travel somewhere farther away to show a road game when they
could just go across town to show a game from Yost. In
looking at the Prime schedule, I noticed that there were a
few Michigan games - all home games. Perhaps NESN is
centrally located for Hockey East teams and Prime does not
have a strong working relationship with networks in the ECAC
          or WCHA areas.

This does not mean I agree with the scheduling philosophy.
I would like to see more of a variety of teams. In fact, as
a CCHA fan, I would rather see as little of the CCHA on
television as possible. I see plenty of all the
in-conference teams in person. I would rather see more of
          the out-of-conference teams.
