It will be interesting to see how the ACHA does this year considering the
dramatic changes in the organization at last April's national meeting.  I
suspect that we'll see a decline in membership this year as institutions
re-evaluate the organization and take a "wait and see" approach to joining.
Also, I believe membership dues have increased -- always a cause for a
slight membership drop.
 
>        - The University of Illinois-Champaign's A.C.H.A. Division I Fighting
>Illini have scheduled N.C.A.A.-opponent Illinois-Chicago for a

Perhaps like Stephen Roth, I should let coment pass, but Northern State
Univ., a minor club hockey program from South Dakota, beat Illinois at the
ACHA National tourney last March.  I guess any team can have a bad game.

I have to agree, many programs would like to have the coverage that the U of
I team receives from the media there.
