Well, I can name four Vermont alumni (but not graduates) who
have played in the NHL - one of them for only one game.
 
John LeClair (Montreal, Philadelphia)
Tom Draper (Winnipeg, Buffalo, Islanders)
Aaron Miller (Quebec)
Christian Soucy (Chicago - but only one game)
 
I had thought that Kirk McCaskill, better known as a pitcher than
as a forward, played for Winnipeg.The NHL Guide and Record Book,
however, does not list him in its section on retired players. I
know he playd in the AHL, but I guess he didn't make the jump.
John Ferguson, then G.M. of Winnipeg, once said when asked about
McCaskill "He played hockey like he plays baseball, once
every five days."
