Alright since I was asked, I will responsed to this neverending thread on
the Sieve cheer. After a goal is scored the band plays "On Wisconsin" and
then the drums start a cadence (slightly borrowed from the OSU Marching
Band's run-on {Hey, the OSU band is good for something}). Fans swing the
arm around about six times changing speed in mid cricle and then yell
"Sieve". This is done three times and then the whole crowd just repeats
"Sieve!" until they get borred. It is quite the sight to witness. It is
done after every Badger goal period.
