Bad news for the RPI Engineers: defensemen Brad Layzell, one of its two blue
line stalwarts, will miss this weekend's Route 7 series with Union.  Look for
Adam Bartel to shoulder much of the load, especially the third period.  An MRI
Monday revealed that Layzell's knee, injured in Saturday's game with Colgate,
suffered only a bad sprain.  The knee may be ready in time for the following
weekend's ECAC championships at Lake Placid.
 
This is going to be one tough weekend.
