I just got off the phone with the University of Minnesota ticket office about
the process for assigning seats for the NCAA finals.  I had called to find out
how an order placed in April of last year ended up with such poor seats.
 
The order of receipt did not matter up to the cutoff date for the first
assignment, which was June 23.  Priority was given to previous ticket holders
including WCHA finals as well as Gopher season ticket holders.  That group
amounted to about 10,000 people.  That group also excluded me.  Oh well,
