WCHA scores from Friday 1/11/91:

Minnesota 7, St. Cloud State 1
  Minnesota-Duluth 2, Northern Michigan 2
North Dakota 3, Colorado College 2
  Wisconsin 3, Michigan Tech 1

Minnesota dominated all three periods of last night's game in Mariucci
Arena in Minneapolis, before a crowd of 7,504. Ken Gernander led the Gopher
with one goal and three assists. St. Cloud played a strong third period, but
it wasn't enough. Their lone goal came on a five-on-three power play. The
same teams meet again tonight in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud 0 0 1 1 5 7 13 25

Northern Michigan scored twice in the final 11 minutes of the third period
to tie the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs in Duluth. The Wildcats have not won on
UMD's home ice since Jan. 25, 1985, going 10-0-2 during that stretch (the
preceding factoid is courtesy of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, from which I
just copied it).
