Cornell downed Dartmouth 4-1 tonight at the Thompson Arena. Cornell
looked the better team through most of the first two periods.
Dartmouth's only goal came short-handed on a breakaway late in the
first. The second period was delayed by about ten minutes when the
arena lights went out.

In the third, Dartmouth picked it up and had several good chances at
the net, but couldn't put one past Scrivens, and a Big Green giveaway
led to the 4th Cornell marker.

There was a scuffle after the final whistle, with a number of fights &
DQs being handed out. Mike Schafer was talking to referee (Scott
Hansen) after the game, and appeared unhappy with whatever Hansen had
to say. That said, given that Cornell had five skaters in the scuffle,
to Dartmouth's three, they might consider themselves lucky that the
penalties ended up even. The game had been quiet up to that point,
aside from a minor bit of unpleasantness with about 45 seconds to go.
