Billy Ryan scored a hat trick that doesn't count to lead Maine past
Team USA Under 18 5-3 Saturday night in Orono, Maine.

The game came on the same day Maine officially opened practice
according to the radio broadcast.  Maine apparently practiced in the
morning.

Maine travels to Denver to open the season for real next week.
