I'd be interested in knowing the rink capacities at both Elmira and
Plattsburgh, as well as the distances each team would have to drive to
get to either location.
 
It sounds like the ECAC would be better off placing the ECAC W FF at Elmira
every year and renaming it the Elmira Final Four, if it is going to do this
year in and year out.  Plattsburgh is so far from most of the other schools
that this situation makes it difficult to think of any situation in which
they would get to host the tourney.  That doesn't sound right.
