Ouch! Detroit has gone longer than any other NHL team without a Stanley Cup,
and you think they are the most valuable.  Even as a Bruins fan (and therefore
a Montreal hater!), I must admit that the Montreal Canadiens are a step above
anyone else in the NHL with their 17 or so Stanley Cups.
 
On the Lacher news front, he has given up 4 goals in each of the last two games,
even though both were wins.  So he is not the goalie god that some have been
making him out to be.  However, he is still VERY impressive, especially as a rokie!
 
The most prestigeous college hockey tournament, the Beanpot, starts tonight.
The last hurrah for the Boston Garden.  Here's hoping for two days of
outstanding hockey and the return home of the Beanpot trophy to BU!!
