Dates above are as listed on the Maine schedule. They may change.
The original schedule had UMass "avoiding" Maine until Jan 1995 along
with BU...here, UMass is slated to travel to Maine very early in the
season, 11/08/94. Unlike the last two seasons, Maine & Providence
won't play 3 straight games and end their season series before any
other HE teams start theirs.
Note that next season, all HE teams play each other 3 times for a
total of 24 HE games. Maine has 13 NC games scheduled. 2 are at UAF
and do not count towards the 34-game limit. There will also be a
Canadian team in Maine's Dexter Classic tourney, and I presume Maine
will play that team in the first round so they can use the exemption
for hosting a Canadian team.
It appears that the two Maine@UNH games will be played in Portland, ME,
since UNH will be without an on-campus rink next season. The last
game of the season between the two is the one that apparently will be
the designated nonconference game between the two - but while this
game has been played in Portland the last two years, the schedule
above says the game will be in Orono in 1994-95.
Maine listed the Regionals as taking place "March 23-25" which is
Thu-Sat. I do not know if this means that there will be a day off
between the first and second days of the 1995 regionals. Maine
also listed the final four as "March 30-31/April 1" while I believe
the dates are actually March 30/April 1.
