As of about 5pm we were able to get our backup link passing more than 1
Gbps of traffic.  Given that relief and time of day, congestion problems
are dissipating.

We expect that the fiber cut will be repaired overnight though we have not
gotten any confirmation as of such.   If it is not, we will have 4 Gbps
available to us on the backup link which will be much more comfortable than
what we experienced this afternoon but will still be somewhat congested
during peak usage (early afternoon).
